Carrie has been selected to exhibit at The Celebration of Fine Art which takes place January 16-March 29, 2009 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event will show works from over 100 artists who come from around the globe. The Celebration of Fine Art has become known as the place "where art lovers and artists connect". The one on one interaction between the visitors and artists is what makes it unique. In addition to the high caliber and variety of art work, the creative energy can be noticed as soon as one walks through the entrance.
Arts & Antiques magazine has called the show "One of the West's Premier Art Events".
With over 50,000 visitors, the event is designed so that first time buyers to serious collectors are comfortable in the inviting atmosphere.

I will be participating in The Celebration of Fine Art held in Scottsdale, Arizona from Jan 12th -March 23. My work will include bronze and ceramic sculpture as well as claymonoprints and paintings. This show includes 100 of the top artists working onsite.
There have been three permanent installations in the last few months. GUMDROPS has a new home at The Benson Sculpture Garden in Loveland Colorado. An installation of THE FOX FAMILY took place at The Delaware Museum of Natural History in Wilmington, Delaware in October and another FOX FAMILY will be installed at The Wildlife Experience in Parker Colorado, this fall.
As many of you remember, PETAL is the big sister of my first sculpture CHARLOTTE. Several years ago, PETAL had 13 piglets born and had to enlist the help of Auntie CHARLOTTE to care for three of her piglets, known to many of you as CHARLOTTE'S CHARGE. Although PETAL is currently a solitary sculpture, you may notice that she has an attitude directed to something behind herů.. the other siblings are on their way!
PETAL is a big gal measuring 28 inches in length, 14 inches wide and 23 inches tall and will provide a great little ride for young children. Her retail price will start at $6400.00 when she makes her debut at Sculpture in the Park in Loveland, Colorado in August, 2007.
"The transition from the past year to the present could only be defined as a flurry of activity, both professionally and personally. It all started late last August..." view full article [pdf file]
"A truly divinely guided decision was made to move to the southwest...It feels as if I was always meant to be here... the sky, the landscape, the colors, the artistic community, the vastness, the weather...all have been a great inspiration for me. Besides my sculpture, I am painting and doing some exciting clayprints. To quote a friend..."a volcano of creativity." I am truly inspired here." view full article [pdf file]
"In late January 2005, I moved to Santa Fe, NM, after many years of travel to the area. The landscape, the colors and art community were incredibly inspiring to me, and I knew I needed time to immerse myself in the southwest." view full article [pdf file]
